Wayne Rosenthal had a short career in the majors following a promising Minor League Career. In 2 seasons he went 1-4 with a 5.40 ERA and 62 Strikeouts. While his playing career was short he continued in the game as a pitching coach for the Montreal Expos and Florida Marlins.
Mr. Rosenthal was kind enough to sign my 1992 Fleer card and send it back to me.
A great coach and an even greater person. I really admire Coach Bowden and he was kind enough to quickly return my requests with some very nice autographs in blue ink.
This is probably my favorite card of the collection. It took me many years to be able to afford a certified Hank Aaron autographed card. While it’s not exactly vintage it is a great autograph on an older card featuring my one of my all-time favorite players.
Great looking Stan “The Man” Musial card arrived today in the mail. This was a really good looking card. I never understood why All Star and All Pro cards were less desireable than the regular issue cards but I’m glad they are. It allowed me to pick this one up for a really small price.
Picked up this great Fence Busters card featuring two of the Braves greats. Hank Aaron is looking pretty young in this photo. I’m not sure if I am a fan of graded cards yet. Part of me likes being able to handle the old cardboard in my hands but buying graded PSA does take alot of risk out of buying vintage cards over the internet. I guess the verdict is still out for me.
